The WildFyre Society presents another fabulous, nude audience live theater event, hosted by the Board of Directors, in collaboration with Ronnie Larsen Presents, at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, June 2, 2016. It is located at 1140 N Flagler Dr.

There will be a pre-performance reception starting at 6:30 p.m. with complimentary beer and wine, plus soda, water, and snacks available for purchase. (Bring cash.) Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. Bring a towel to sit on and a gym bag or backpack for your clothes. There is ample parking on the street. Public transit is available to within a few blocks of this location; get directions for bus or bike from your starting point.

Stay after the show and take a selfie with the cast on the stage! Then, come to the after-Party gathering (clothed) at Lisa’s Backyard (patio of Mona’s Cocktail Lounge), 502 E Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, ½-mile from the theater. Cash bar.

In Party, a group of seven gay friends get together for a kiki in mid-1990s Manhattan. The evening is full of campy comebacks, Broadway references, and naughty party games. As the evening progresses, the guys start to play a version of "Truth or Dare" in which they must answer intimate questions and act out sexual fantasies, all the while shedding an article of clothing with each round until they all end up naked. The dialog is hilarious but also turns poignant as it touches gently on darker themes, including a painful coming out, unrequited love, and the loss of friends in the AIDS epidemic unfolding around them.

… non-stop laughs from beginning to end ... a new vision of gays that is life-affirming and unapologetic. Besides being warm and witty, with a wonderful celebration of life quality to it, Party is absolutely hysterical. — Chicago River North News

It’s been two decades since the Off-Broadway premiere of David Dillon’s play, Party, but the story about a group of gay friends still rings true.South Florida Gay News

This play was written by David Dillon and is directed by Nic Arnzen, who performed in the original production of Party nearly 25 years ago. The producer is Ronnie Larsen, an accomplished playwright, actor, director, and producer, for three of whose plays, Making Porn, All-Male Peep Show, and Cocksucker: A Love Story, the WildFyre Society had sold-out, nude audience nights at the same theater in 2014, 2015, and early 2016, respectively. As noted above, there is cast nudity. For cast bios, additional reviews, and other details, see Ronnie Larsen Presents.
