The WildFyre Society presents another fabulous, nude audience live theater event in collaboration with Ronnie Larsen Presents at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. It is located at 1140 N Flagler Dr. Audience nudity is mandatory.

There will be a pre-performance reception starting at 6:30 p.m. with beer and wine (one of either, per person, complimentary; tips appreciated), plus soda, water, and snacks for purchase. (Bring cash.) Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. Bring a towel to sit on and a gym bag or backpack for your clothes. There is ample parking on the street. Public transit is available to within a few blocks of this location; get directions for bus or bike from your starting point.

Stay after the show and take a selfie with the cast on the stage! Then, join us at The Cubby Hole for Underwear Night, when drinks are 2-4-1 until 2 a.m. for those in underwear. It is located at 823 N Federal Hwy, about a half-mile from the theater. Cash bar.

Shooting Porn! Live on Stage! is the staged version of a documentary film about the porn industry that playwright Ronnie Larsen produced and directed in 1997. That dramatization is receiving its Florida premiere with this production, the first anywhere in ten years.

Larsen made the documentary after being approached by real-life porn actors in Los Angeles who were in the audiences of his play, Making Porn. The WildFyre Society enjoyed an exclusive, nude audience night for that play in March 2014 in this same venue.

“They asked me how I found out about their stories,” Larsen recalled, “and they invited me to their sets. After watching three or four movies being shot, I thought somebody should really capture what happens behind the scenes.” The documentary was an instant success, earning screenings on the gay and lesbian film festival circuit and eventually being distributed commercially.

Shooting Porn! is a completely different work from Making Porn. The lead role is played by award-winning actor, model, writer, filmmaker, and music producer Adam Davenport. Ronnie Larsen plays Chi Chi LaRue, and Empire Stage proprietor and Making Porn veteran David Gordon also has a role. This play contains male nudity.
